Built in Australia for fresh food wholesale

Run the whole shop from one screen.

Opsider takes orders from email, WhatsApp, voicemail and the counter, traces every kilo to the pallet it arrived on, and chases the money so you don't have to. Built for butchers, seafood, produce and smallgoods wholesalers.

One ledger for POS, wholesale and online. Lot-level traceability. Built for AU GST and PrimeSafe record-keeping.

You know this morning. It's 5:58 and the lights are barely on.

  • Forty-three orders in the inbox. Nine came in after midnight. One is a voicemail you'll play three times.
  • The cut list is on the whiteboard, and someone's elbow has taken out the middle of it.
  • In the office, a folder of invoices nobody has chased since the 14th.

Opsider starts your day already sorted. See the morning routine ↓

Order Pilot

Order Pilot reads your inbox so nobody types orders again.

Emails, texts, WhatsApp, voicemails and PDF purchase orders become structured, priced draft orders. Review in ten seconds, create in one click. About 6 hours of re-keying saved per 200 orders.

The inbox, as it arrives

WhatsApp · 9:41pm · from 0431 552 210

hey can we get 10kg brisket, 5kg chuck for tmrw 🙏

Email · 10:22pm · orders@goldengrill.com.au

"Usual Friday order thanks mate, plus 3 doz chooks"

Voicemail · 5:12am · 0418 220 941 · 0:38

"G'day it's Sam, can you throw on two bodies of lamb for Thursday..."

The draft, ready for review

  • It learns from every correction

Fix "usual snags" to thick beef sausages once, and it matches them automatically forever. Every edit makes the next draft sharper.

  • It never overrides a credit stop

A draft for a stopped account waits for a human decision. The pilot drafts; you stay the captain.

  • The original message rides along

The chef's exact words travel on the order to the pick list and the bench. "Cut thick for braising" arrives at the saw, word for word.

Traceability

Every kilo knows which pallet it came from.

Every intake becomes a lot: supplier, kilos, cost and use-by, recorded once at the coolroom door. From then on it's automatic. Every sale draws from the oldest lot first, and the true cost of that exact pallet travels onto the invoice line. Nobody scans twice, nobody keeps a book.

1 Name the lot: CON-20260524
2 14 customers, 31 deliveries surface, including through 2 carcase breakdowns
3 Recall notices drafted for every one. One tap.

One-tap recall

Name a lot and every customer who received any of it is on screen, even where the carcase was broken down into cuts along the way. The paperwork your auditor dreams about, in seconds not days.

Profit per pallet

What each lot cost, what it sold for, and what walked out as trim. Lot Profitability is a report your competitors cannot produce, because their systems never knew which pallet the kilo came from.

The coolroom on screen

Every open lot as a tile, coloured by freshness. The amber ones become tomorrow's special before they become Thursday's shrink.

A day on Opsider

Built for the rhythm of the trade, coolroom light to drawer count.

Opsider follows the day you already run. Here is what changes hands, hour by hour.

  1. 6:30

    Morning Brief

Coffee in hand, one screen: what's expiring, what's short, who owes what. Every line ends in a button.

  2. 7:10

    Order Pilot inbox

Overnight texts, emails and voicemails are already drafted orders. Review each in ten seconds, fix the odd line, create.

  3. 7:40

Confirm and print the cut list

Confirmed orders total themselves into the bench's prep sheet. 62 kg of brisket today, in the chef's own words where they matter.

  4. 8:30

    Pick and pack

Weigh and pack reprices the invoice to the actual packed weight. Ordered 5 kg, packed 4.8, invoiced 4.8. No credit note on Friday.

  5. 9:15

    Load the vans

Drag orders onto runs, print run sheets, dispatch. Drivers get their stops in order, the office sees every van at a glance.

  6. 10:00

    Serve the counter

The POS reads the scales, prints weight barcodes, charges accounts, splits tenders. If the internet drops, it keeps selling and syncs later.

  7. 14:30

    Receive stock as lots

This afternoon's delivery becomes lots: supplier, kilos, cost, use-by. Thirty seconds at the door, and traceability starts here.

  8. 17:30

    Close the day

Count the drawer, print the Z-report, lock the door. Tomorrow's Morning Brief is already building itself.

The full kit

Everything else is in the box.

No modules to bolt on, no "contact sales for that". One subscription runs the lot.

Morning Brief

The whole ledger read for you before 6am: expiring stock with one-click markdowns that snap back after the use-by, days-of-cover with a draft PO per supplier, standing orders that generate themselves, and a short list of who to chase for money.

Orders board

Six plain stages, bulk advance, honest counts. No mystery statuses invented by a product manager.

Customer portal

B2B ordering at each customer's own price list with live availability, order cut-off times, saved templates and standing orders.

Online store ready

Sell retail online from the same stock and pricing engine that runs the wholesale side. One catalogue, nothing entered twice.

POS that knows the scales

Scale-aware, reads PLU and weight-embedded barcodes, split tenders, account charging. Keeps selling offline and syncs when the internet comes back.

Pick lists

The chef's actual words on every line. Substitutions email the customer automatically. Every pick attributed and timed.

Cut list

The bench's prep sheet, totalled per product, carrying only the cutting-relevant part of long messages.

Delivery runs

A drag-and-drop run board, auto-assign by zone, printed run sheets with arrive, depart, temperature and signature columns.

Driver app

Stops in order, navigate, probe temperature, photo and signature on glass. The QR code on the invoice opens that exact delivery, so a query is settled in one scan.

Invoices and statements

Due dates from each customer's terms, statement runs in one click, per-invoice reminders. The PDF shows the lots each line drew from, which ends most disputes before they start.

Payments that receipt properly

Money applies oldest-invoice-first, exactly like an accountant would post it. Leftovers become account credit that applies itself.

Credit control

Automatic credit stops past a threshold, automatic release on payment, credit limits enforced at order time, not at month end.

Auto-charge

Overdue invoices swept to the stored card. You stop being the collections department.

Pricing engine

Four price tiers plus per-customer overrides. Date-windowed specials that end themselves. Target-margin pricing from the latest lot cost.

Specials and broadcasts

Time-boxed price cuts, broadcast by email or SMS to everyone or just recent buyers of that product.

Purchasing

Purchase orders, receive-against-PO, supplier invoices with the paperwork attached, PO-vs-invoice reconciliation, aged payables.

17 named reports

BAS-ready GST. Profit and margin with real lot-level COGS. The Buy Report puts sales against stock against incoming, so Monday buying is arithmetic, not instinct. Customer variance flags who should have ordered by now. All 17 filter, sort and export to CSV, Excel and PDF.

Compliance without the binder

A HACCP-style temperature diary, cleaning checklists, cold chain records on every delivery, and an audit pack that exports in one go when the inspector calls.

Search that answers questions

Ctrl-K finds any customer, order, lot or page. It also answers plain English: "how much lamb did Press Club buy last month" comes back with a number, not a report to build.

Loyalty and account tools

Points on paid sales, redeemable as credit notes. Per-customer catalogue visibility, notes and full history where you need them.

Money

Invoices that chase themselves.

The collections loop runs without you. You only hear about it when a decision needs an owner.

  1. Invoice lands with a real due date from that customer's terms.
  2. Reminder goes out the day it tips overdue. Per invoice, not a vague nudge.
  3. Statement run: every account, one click, first of the month.
  4. Auto-charge sweeps overdue invoices to the stored card.
  5. Credit stop switches on past your threshold. New orders wait.
  6. Release is automatic the moment payment lands. Nobody has the awkward phone call twice.

Receipting like an accountant, at the speed of a keystroke

Enter a $1,000 payment against six open invoices and Opsider receipts the oldest first, to the cent. Anything left over becomes account credit that applies itself to the next invoice.

FAQ

Fair questions, straight answers.

Does my team need training?

Not much. Opsider follows the day you already run, so most staff learn their screen in minutes: drivers see stops, the bench sees the cut list, the counter sees the POS. Nobody has to learn the whole system.

What happens when the internet drops?

The counter keeps selling. The POS works offline and syncs everything back the moment the connection returns. No queue of customers watching you reboot a router.

Can customers keep ordering by text and email?

Yes, and that's the point. Order Pilot reads whatever they already send: texts, emails, WhatsApp, voicemails, PDF purchase orders. Nothing changes for your customers, everything changes for whoever was doing the typing.

How does the traceability work day to day?

You receive stock as lots: supplier, kilos, cost, use-by, about thirty seconds at the door. Everything after that is automatic. Sales draw oldest-first, costs follow the kilo, and recall or profit questions are answered from the ledger.

Does it handle GST and BAS?

Yes, including per-line GST-free handling for fresh meat and produce, which trips up generic systems. The GST report is BAS-ready.

What hardware do I need?

Any modern browser on the machines you already own. Scales, label printers, EFTPOS terminals and barcode scanners connect through drivers. No proprietary terminal to buy.

Can it run more than one location?

Yes. Each location keeps its own stock and lots, with transfers between them, and the reports roll up or split out per site.

How do we start?

Book a demo. If it fits, onboarding loads your products, customers and prices for you, and we stay close until the first quiet Friday afternoon proves it's working.
